Further improvement of services for local governments, and development of new services utilizing accumulated data.

“Smart Yorozuya (one-stop-shop) concept” - build an ecosystem where various services are deployed.

More than 6,000 service stations in Japan - transform them into the places that solve problems and support convenient and affluent lives in regional areas.

Startups in the food, healthcare, and mobility fields will be welcomed, in order to develop various services to improve the quality of life of consumers in each region.

Solving increasingly complex social issues as “Social ICT Pioneer”.

Plan to open QUINTBRIDGE, one of Japan’s largest open innovation facilities, in Kyobashi, Osaka in February 2022.

Collaboration in initiatives that contribute to regional revitalization using the company’s telecommunication services. (e.g., online healthcare, online education, etc.)

Realization of sustainable local communities that support people's affluent lives.

Transport network with nationwide and the possibilities expanding by reforming our operations using digital technology.
- Approximately 24,000 post offices, 33,000 four-wheeled vehicles, and 83,000 motorcycles throughout Japan.

Startups that provide new value to local residents by utilizing the above assets.

Leverage digital technology to realize a “consumer first” society through smart cities.

Collaboration with startups using “Dot to Dot” as a catalyst to not only solve inconveniences for consumers, but also to create “new excitement”.

Business fields such as stations, trains, station buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and card businesses.

Startups utilizing various assets owned by JR East to realize a "railroad version of DX".
